Interests: becoming an artist, learning to play an instrument (maybe drums or guitar or bass?), all my friends, my family, boys , being happy, kayaking, waking up early every once in a while and singing really loud to myself, water balloon fights, cheesecake, brownies, laughing, finding someone i can adore, poking fun at emo kids, poking fun at punk kids, poking fun at goth kids, poking fun at just about everyone...
Expertise: having a contagious laugh, saying dumb stuff to break the ice, waking up at noon and being tired 8 hours later, drawing funny cartoons of people, giving people the evil eye and making them do my biddings (i swear, i can), coming up with awesome magnetic poems ("and the rabbit died in a pool of scarlet blood, pouring out onto the crisp morning snow...." heehee), having amazing dreams that i love to share with people, being loud...

merry christmas everyone! no more school! woohoo!

it's been quite some time since i last wrote in here. i almost forgot i had a xanga!

let me just say that this year is turning out really well. i think it is on the same level as freshman year. and that is pretty hard to live up to.  i'll be sad next year when all the seniors leave and it's just a few of my friends left... actually, that will be beyond saddening. i'm really trying not to think about it. i'm trying to live in the wonderful here and now like everyone else. but... everyone else is a senior...

today was the second day of school. it was better than the first which was, to say the least, miserable.

i had art class today. the last period. we were doing collage/multi-media pictures of a still life and everything from tissue paper to pipe cleaners to glitter glue were available to us. naturally we grabbed as much as we could carry and started working on our pieces. about 15 minutes from the end of class, i hear a pop and i flinch as something cold and wet hits the side of me. poor catherine had found one of the bottle of glitter glue that had dried up in the nozzle. she squeezed as hard as she could to get it out and BAM. it exploded allll over her face and mouth and neck and her shirt and my arm and my pants. we ran to the bathroom laughing uncontrollably. her over the stupid blunder she had just made, and me over the look she had on her face. which was something like this, only with purple glitter glue and suppressed hysteria.

so far. this year is starting off..... interestingly enough.

ugh. i still have sparkles under my nails... bleh.

oh my god. only 5 days left. five days of freedom. and two are filled up completely, so 3 days. and two are halfway filled up so 2 days. and one is partially filled up so 1 1/3 days left. i have tomorrow. and a little bit of time on sunday. and then POOF. no more summer. no more sun tan. no more ice cream and no more pool. no more waking up at noon and going to bed at 3 am. no more rotting my brain playing video games and watching tv. no more putting off summer reading until the day before.

no more... :(

i believe school starts in 2 weeks and 9 hours or somesuch like that.

i also believe that this definitely wasn't the case a minute ago. a minute ago i had 8 months left of summer vacation that were ready to go on into eternity. and then i looked at our school's website... i mean, a big blaring green countdown is a little bit much, don't you think? but 14 days and nine hours and some amount of minutes it is. jeez... they're mocking us, i swear!

p.s. if anyone cares to inform me as to whether or not we have to read the great gatsby for a summer reading book, please do. i was told that we DO in fact, have to read it. but i never got the letter telling me to. (literally. there was allegedly a letter speaking of this book assignment.) so yeah. i will check the xanga again in about a month's time. that is so sad. haha. later..

i keep having the same sort of dream. and the same sort of person is always in it. i mean, i am not a dream interpreter, or a psychic, but i do think dreams tell a little about your subconscious. and if what i believe is true... well. let's just say that this is shaping up to be a pretty good school year after all. :)
